This
spread is delicious when served with crackers or fresh
vegetables. Cayenne pepper sauce adds a tiny kick to this garlic
spread and is made from dried red chile peppers. The small
ornamental plant is cultivated in the East Indies and Africa. It
bears small brilliant red pods of spicy fruit.
2 tablespoons butter
8
ounces cream cheese
1
tablespoon oil from sun dried tomatoes
¼
teaspoon Dijon-style prepared mustard
1
teaspoon rice vinegar
2
garlic cloves, crushed in a garlic press
2
tablespoons chopped sun dried tomatoes
Dash
cayenne pepper sauce
Pinch
sweet paprika
Salt
to taste
Ground
black pepper to taste

tablespoon sliced green onion tops or chives

In a blender, process the butter, cream cheese, oil and
mustard
until smooth and creamy.
2. Add the vinegar,
crushed garlic, tomatoes, cayenne, paprika,
salt
and pepper. Process until smooth, turning off blender as
needed
to stir up the cream cheese. Then blend again.
3. Place in serving
dish and top with sliced green onion tops.
