Rainbow Ribbon Gelatin

Raspberry Jell-O

Cooling each layer in the freezer without allowing the gelatin to actually freeze speeds up the process. If layers do mix by accident they will simply turn out to be a "funky" painted looking layer.

    1 (3-ounce) package raspberry Jell-O®
    1 (3-ounce) package orange Jell-O
®
    1 (3-ounce) package lime Jell-O
®
    1 (3-ounce) package lemon Jell-O
®
    8 cups boiling water
    ⅔ cup sour cream

1.  Use 8 (2-cup size) bowls. Divide each package of Jell-O®,
     using a tablespoon measure, into two of the bowls for each
     package. You will have two bowls of each flavor Jell-O
®.

2.  To each bowl, add 1 cup boiling water, Stir well. Whisk 3
     tablespoons of sour cream into one bowl of each flavor.

3.  In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish, pour plain raspberry   
     gelatin. Set on a flat surface in the freezer. Set the timer for
     15 minutes. Using a large dessert spoon held against the
     edge, pour in the pastel lime gelatin. Set timer again for 15
     minutes and place in freezer.

4.  Continue with lemon, pastel raspberry, orange, pastel yellow,
     green and then pastel orange. Cover and refrigerate until set.

     Makes 15 servings
