Taco Salad

You won’t even miss the tortilla shell! Instead of sour cream I use a container of 
fry sauce leftover from a fast-food restaurant. You could use a little 
creamy low-fat dressing. 

    5-7 ounces lean ground sirloin (your butcher should have this or just use lean ground beef)

    Seasoning salt
    Paprika
    Freshly ground Tellicherry peppercorns
    Chili powder
    Cayenne

    Garlic powder

    3 cups lettuce
    1 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese

    2 tablespoons salsa
    1 tablespoon fry sauce or creamy dressing
   

1. In a large frying pan, cook meat until crumbly and well cooked.

2. Think like a chef and sprinkle meat with a bit of seasoning salt, paprika,

     pepper, chili powder, cayenne and garlic powder. Adjust seasonings to
     taste. If you want to cool beef down put it in the freezer for a few minutes
     otherwise it tastes great still a bit warm.

3.  Place lettuce on a large plate, top with beef. Sprinkle with cheese and top
     with salsa and sauce or dressing. Serve immediately.
