SOOTHING
LEMON TEA
This
sweet-and-sour syrupy tea will soothe and calm a cough and give a boost of
vitamin C. The addition of the tea bag is optional and delicious. Confucius once
said: "Be kind and courteous to all, even to the stranger from afar. If he
says that he is thirsty, give him a cup of tea."
⅓
cup lemon juice
⅓ cup clover honey
1 ½ cups boiling water
1 Naturally Decaffeinated Lipton® tea bag
1.
Squeeze the lemon and strain the juice into a tea pot.
2.
Add the honey and boiling water. Stir until the honey is
dissolved. Add a
tea bag and steep for 1 minute.
3. Remove
the tea bag and pour lemon tea into tea cups.
Hint: Sip
slowly if you have a sore throat.
