Grandma’s
Baked Salmon
The
secret to this recipe is dill. It is also one of the dominant seasonings in
Scandinavian cuisine. A very hot oven helps to get the salmon on the table fast.
The salmon is best fresh and may be marinated in the dill mayonnaise for 24
hours. We serve this dish with buttered rice, vegetables and wheat rolls with
homemade strawberry or raspberry freezer jam.
4 salmon filets
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon dried dill
weed
1 teaspoon fresh lemon
juice
Pinch salt
Ground black pepper
