Improve Your Life Satisfaction, October 31,
2011
New Zealand author Oli Hille is living
his dream life and by writing "Creating the Perfect
Lifestyle" he shares all his secrets. Do you want to
experience more hope, be healthy mentally, improve your
relationship, have more fun or even help to eradicate poverty?
This book also has the answers to many of your questions. This
book covers everything from goal setting to having a better
relationship with your Creator. Oli Hille also offers advice on
how to have the perfect day.
Some of the book focuses on how to organize your life and
explains how goal setting should be a priority. There is also a
great chapter on how to have a better life by not watching TV. I
can say from personal experience that the author is correct
about this. I don't miss the stress of watching the news! I get
my news online and can pick and choose what I want to know.
While Olie Hille has some good financial advice he also has some
great advice about finding the right partner for life. He also
includes a chapter on raising kids. Some of the other things he
covers includes saving for retirement and how to overcome fear
and combat stress. He also explains the power of positive
affirmations.
Olie Hille is a success because he plans his life. There is much
to learn from this book and if you take the advice seriously you
could really improve your situation in life.

Living in Gratitude
What a Beautiful Gift to the World, October
13, 2011
"Gratitude is a feeling
that spontaneously emerges from within. However, it is not
simply an emotional response; it is also a choice we make."
~ pg. 3
A lot of people have the belief that if you are grateful for
your life then you will be happy. "Living in
Gratitude" is a book meant to be read over the course of a
year. It is a twelve-month journey that includes wisdom from all
around the world. Angeles Arrien believes we should make
gratitude a daily practice because it improves our health and
well-being. She explains how when we look for the good in others
we automatically become more compassionate.
What I especially liked about this book is the section on
practices at the end of each chapter. The questions asked also
could be used as inspiration for writing in a gratitude journal.
Some of the topics covered in this book include forgiveness,
generosity, humility, mercy, tolerance, joy, respect, peace,
love and wisdom. Also throughout the book Angeles Arrien
explains how different cultures express gratitude. She also
explains "nature deficit disorder." Don't you feel
more grateful when you get out in nature? I often feel gratitude
when I look up at the night sky.
"Living in Gratitude" is a beautiful gift to the
world. Reading this book made me instantly feel happy. I know
that if I practice being grateful it will bring even more
happiness into my life.
