Salad with
Currants or Raisins
Bulgur
is wheat in its natural state, therefore it is extremely healthy. Currants or
raisins bring a sweet flavor to this salad.
1 cup bulgur
3 cups boiling water
¼ cup chopped fresh
parsley
2 tablespoons chopped
green onions, white portion only
⅓ cup currants
or raisins
2 tablespoons sliced
almonds
2 tablespoons fresh
lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive
oil
¼ teaspoon seasoning
salt
Freshly ground
Tellicherry peppercorns
Lemon slices
Fresh parsley sprigs
